PRODUCT STRUCTURAL FEATURES

The elastic seat sealed plug valve makes improvements on traditional plug valve and segment valve, provides reliable applications and offers availability and long service life for various media, high-speed, corrosive fluid and fluid with impurity. The advanced functions and structural design will be comprehended in the following performances and features.

1) Wholly rubber-coated cock, The whole cock of all diameters applies up-to-date vulcanization process, its outer surface is wholly coated with high-performance rubber, where enjoys excellent sealing elasticity and resistance to fluid corrosion and high-speed fluid scouring. It overcomes the defects of traditional plug valve that the exposed metal cock of traditional plug valve and the separated ball core of segment valve are easily corroded by fluids.

2) Special corrosion-resistant seat. Stainless steel or nickel-surfaced seat is firmly connected with the valve body, which can withstand the wearing of solid particles, and resist to the destroying of corrosive medium and the scouring of high-speed fluid. High-interchangeability sealing element is re-used by only changing the cock of valve. It overcomes the defects of segment floating-type seat in the bad interchangeability of sealing elements and difficult subsequent maintenance.

3) Rectangular through passageway. The through passageway has a less fluid head loss; its rectangular section can be applied as hand-, electrically- or pneumatically- driven control valve, and enjoys very good flow regulating linearity. It overcomes the improper regulating linearity of round section when the traditional ball valve or segment valve is used as regulator.

4) Integral bow-shaped valve shaft. The valve shaft and cock are integrally cast with high transmission strength and rigidness. The bow-shaped valve shaft structure is applicable for keeping away from the passageway of fully-opened valve, and offers remarkable diversion efficiency. Its weight is less than traditional plug valve and segment valve.
